For yoga practitioners who
want a sustainable practice
that adapts to and enriches their lives.
Rooted. Consistent. Yours.
You want yoga to be more than a workout. You want to explore its depth, integrate its teachings, and have it live in your daily life. What has been missing is not a different studio or another class on YouTube -- it is a structure that adapts to your real life and a teacher who can guide you forward.
I'm Shannon, and I empower yoga students to create, maintain, and expand a holistic yoga practice that is consistent, focused and tailored to their modern lifestyle.
I’ve spent the last 20 years traveling to India for one to 6 months at a time devoting myself to learning from the source, and am authorized by the Jois family to teach Ashtanga yoga. I have continued to expand my knowledge and deepen my own practice by through training in trainings in the Yin and Restorative Yoga and earning a yoga philosophy certification at Loyola Marymount University's Yoga Studies program.
During these past two decades, I've taken my practice on the road with me as I've traveled domestically and internationally with my work as a flight attendant. A life of travel has created challenges for my practice. I have struggled with lack of sleep, time zone changes, poor eating habits and the guilt of not maintaining my practice in the “traditional” manner. Over the years, I've refined a variety of habits, rituals and just general “tricks” to keep myself on the mat.Â
Now, I’m here to support you with your practice. Let me help you create, maintain and expand your practice. I can guide you through a variety of yoga's dimensions to create a personal practice that resonates with you - come work with me.
